Why with us?
I am Omar Taha. Growing up in a Moroccan Berber family, I got to know and love our country and the nomadic life with all its fascinating facets from an early age. These experiences and adventures inspired me to found my guiding service “Morocco Tours”.
The valley of my childhood, “Ait Bouguemez” (the “Happy Valley”) was the starting point for many national market visits with my father. This allowed me to earn some money alongside my school education, which I invested in learning foreign languages. Today I speak Arabic, German, French, Spanish and English in addition to my mother tongue “Tamazight”.
From 2009 at the age of 21, I attended the mountain guide school in Ait Bouguemez and since 2010 I have been working as an officially recognized mountain and desert guide for tourists from all over the world. Today I have extensive experience as a tour guide and organizer of individually designed round trips through this impressive country full of scenic and cultural contrasts.

Direct and personal contact with nature, the life and culture of the locals are at the forefront of our program. We are very happy to share our knowledge of the culture and people of our home country with you, our dear guests.

Accommodation
Depending on where our journey takes us, we stay in riads (traditional Moroccan townhouses, simple to exclusive), hotels, guesthouses or luxurious desert camps.
Costs
The costs depend on the type of trip and individual requirements, such as the type of accommodation or means of transport. We will of course be happy to provide you with our travel offers and costs when we process your enquiry.
Transport
We are travelling in comfortable off-road vehicles, on mules in the mountains and dromedaries in the desert.
